Materials:
   2 balls Treliske Organic Merino
   pr 4mm Knitting needles
   Stitch holder
   3 Buttons

Tension: 22sts and 28 rows to
               10cms
Back:
Using 4mm needles cast on 45 sts.
Row 1:
*K1, P1, rep from * to last st, K1
Repeat Row 1 five more times
(this is moss stitch)
Next Row: Knit
Next Row: Purl
(this is stocking stitch)

Repeat last 2 rows until work measures 14cms from cast on edge finishing with a wrongside row
Shape Armholes:
Cast off 4 sts at beginning of next 2 rows (37sts remaining)
Decrease 1 st at each end on the next 3 rows (31sts remaining)
Continue straight until armhole from beginning of shaping measures 10cm, ending with a wrongside row.
Shape Shoulders and Neck:
Cast off 6 sts at beginning of next 2 rows
Next Row:
*K1, P1, rep from * to last st, K1
repeat last row 3 more times

Cast off remaining 19sts.
Front:
Work as for back until measures 14cm (start of armhole shaping)
Shape Armholes and V-Neck:
Cast off 4 sts at beginning of next row.
Work until 18 sts on right hand needle and put remaining 23 sts onto stitch holder. Continue on 18 sts as follows
Row 1: K1, P1, K1, P to last 2 sts, P2tog
Row 2: K2tog, K 9 sts, K2tog, P1,K1, P1, K1
Row 3: Repeat row 1
Row 4: K2tog, K 6 sts, K2tog, P1, K1, P1, K1
Row 5: K1, P1, K1, purl to end
Row 6: K 6 sts,K2tog, P1, K1, P1, K1
Row 7: Repeat row 5
Row 8: K 5 sts, K2tog, P1, K1, P1, K1
Row 9: Repeat row 5
Row 10: K 4 sts,  K2tog, P1, K1, P1, K1

Continue on these 9sts, keeping moss stitch band correct, until armhole from beginning of shaping measures 10cm, ending with a wrongside row.
Next Row: K1, K2tog, yfwd, K2, P1, K1, P1, K1
Next Row: K1, P1, K1, P to end
Next Row: Cast off 5 sts, K1, P1, K1
Cast off remaining 4 sts

Place 23sts from holder back on your needle, right side facing.
Next Row: K2tog, P1, K1, P1, K to end
Next Row: Cast off 4sts. P to last 3 sts, K1, P1, K1
Work on remaining 18sts as follows:
Row 1: K1, P1, K1, P1, K2tog, K to last 2 sts, K2tog
Row 2: P2tog, P11sts, K1, P1, K1
Row 3: Repeat Row 1
Row 4: P2tog, P8sts, k1, P1, K1
Row 5: K1, P1, K1, P1, K2tog, K to end.
Row 6: P to last 3 sts, K1, P1, K1
Repeat rows 5 and 6 two more times each

Continue on these 9sts, keeping moss stitch band correct, until armhole from beginning of shaping measures 10cm, ending with a wrongside row
Next Row: K1, P1, K1, P1, K1, K2tog, yfwd, K2
Next Row: P to last 3 sts, K1, P1, K1
Next Row: K1, P1, K1, P1, K to end
Next Row: Cast off 5 sts, K1, P1, K1
Cast off remaining 4 sts
Sewing up and finishing:
With wrong sides together, sew up side seams using back stitch, or your own preferred stitch.
Sew moss st neckbands together.
Sew buttons onto shoulders.
