beanie. Quick to knit in the softest cotton. Perfect for keeping a
precious baby snug, and looking cool.

1 ball Sirdar
Luxury 8ply cotton
1 pair 4mm bamboo
needles
Sewing up needleTension:
22sts and 28tows
in stoking stitch to 10cm.
Abbreviations:
beg = begin
dec = decrease
k = knit
p = purl
st st = stocking
stitch
sts = stitches
tog = together
Let’s start knitting.
With 4mm needles, cast on 73(82) sts.
Beg with a k row, work 12(14)cm in st st.
Dec row: k1, [k2tog, k7] repeat brackets to end.

k6] repeat brackets to end.

Dec row:
k1, [k2tog,
k5] repeat brackets to end.

Cut yarn leaving
40cm, thread needle and thread yarn through remaining 7 sts. Pull
and secure.
To
make a customized beanie – embroider heart, stars, sea shells or
flowers randomly around the beanie using another ball of cotton.
Alternately, decorate with pretty buttons.
